How our guides are researched
Content on this site is prepared using official community, tourism, conservation and public-government sources, combined with first-hand operational experience coordinating kosher meals, Shabbat logistics and Galápagos travel in Ecuador. We do not publish speculative claims about pricing, availability or community services.
Verification standards
Statements about kosher supervision always name the supervising authority — meals described on this site are prepared under Chabad Guayaquil supervision. Statements about community access, schedules and facilities are framed as subject to direct confirmation, because they genuinely are: small communities change schedules, and Galápagos entry rules evolve.
Review and update cycle
Authority guides carry a "Last reviewed" date. Pages covering travel logistics, biosecurity rules and community access are re-reviewed regularly, and immediately when we learn of a material change through our operations.
Independence and scope
Kosher Ecuador Tours is an independent travel-planning platform. We do not represent, supervise or speak for independent Jewish institutions, communities or rabbinical authorities. Where we describe community hospitality, we describe how travelers can request it — not guarantee it.
What we do — and do not — commit to
We commit to: accurate descriptions of our own services, named supervision for meals we coordinate, and honest framing of what depends on third parties. We do not commit to: prices before a written quote, community participation before it is confirmed, or logistics claims for services we do not operate.
Corrections
If you find outdated or inaccurate information on any page, contact us and we will review it. Corrections that affect traveler decisions are prioritized and reflected in the page’s review date.
